He has held positions of highest managerial responsibility in the areas of Management, Strategy and Marketing in Spain and abroad, where he has established subsidiaries of European companies in the U.S., most recently in New York to an Italian multinational building products manufacturer where he monitored the operation for the entire continent and directed for four years. He has also participated in turnarounds and the creation of Joint Ventures in China, Germany, Italy and has helped develop sales channels in countries over half the world.

Ignacio has an Mechanical Engineer ICAI’s degree, Graduate in Business Administration from UPM, Master in e-Business by UPC and Advanced Diploma in Strategic Management from IMD in Switzerland. He Speaks fluently Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese.

In 1998 created his own project to develop a network based on advanced information for the construction industry for which he was recognized by the National Award for Young Entrepreneurs Congress 1998 and also received the Entrepreneurship Award 1999 from University of Vigo.

He was a founding partner of EGANET, industry association of which he was president in 2000-2001, a position he left to take charge of the implementation of Alwaystone, SA and in the field of Natural Stone, won the R de Galicia Prize – ICT businesses category 2003.

He was part of the European project INBITRA, for technology transfer between different regions of the European Union.

Since 2004 has been Managing Director of Galicia Warehouses, Industrial Real Estate. At these companies has worked on developing strategic plans for development of industrial land and the establishment of numerous companies and facilities. Within these areas he has extensive experience.

Javier graduated as Industrial Engineer by the University of Vigo, Master in Quality Management and Postgraduate in Construction Development by the University of Santiago de Compostela.
